Run Toward the Sound

At first we hear the Sound.

Then we recognize the Sound.

Then we turn toward the Sound.

Then we walk toward the Sound.

Eventually we begin to live from the Sound.

And finally our walk becomes a prophetic sound for someone else.

Humanity once heard the Sound and hid;

Grace teaches humanity how to hear The Sound without running away.

Eventually we stop merely asking:

“Can you hear God?”

Our lives begin asking:

“Can you hear something of God in the way I walk?”
