About The Presence Network

The Presence Network is a faith-rooted, sacred care nonprofit that trains, forms, and deploys spiritual companions to accompany people through life’s most sacred transitions. TPN honors the Divine Presence, human dignity, and the sacred mysteries of life and death through chaplaincy formation, community spiritual care, and ritual support.

What We Do

The Presence Network exists to help restore what many systems have neglected:  The formation of the caregiver.

Throughout life’s most sacred moments—birth, illness, grief, reconciliation, and the final transition from this world—what people often need most is not explanation, correction, or solutions, but compassionate presence. A calm heart. A listening ear. A steady companion on the path.

The Presence Network provides education, formation, and community programs designed to strengthen compassionate caregiving.

Programs may include:

  • Presence-centered caregiver training
  • Chaplain formation and certification
  • Grief and end-of-life awareness education
  • Compassionate listening workshops
  • Community support gatherings

We live in a world filled with noise, speed, exhaustion, division, and distraction.  People are surrounded by information—yet starving for wisdom.  Connected by technology—yet aching for human presence.  Served by systems—yet longing to be truly seen.

The Presence Network exists to help restore what many have lost:  The quiet power of grounded human presence.

We believe healing often begins not when someone gives the right answer, but when someone remains fully present in the room.

We form caregivers, leaders, chaplains, and compassionate companions to become people whose presence itself becomes healing.

Our Mission

To cultivate compassionate caregivers by teaching the art of presence and equipping individuals to accompany others through grief, illness, suffering, and end-of-life transitions with empathy, dignity and peace.

We believe that every human life is part of a greater spiritual journey. Each person comes from a deeper source of life, walks a unique path of growth and discovery, and ultimately returns to the freedom and peace of that eternal source. Along this journey, presence becomes one of the most powerful forms of care we can offer one another.

The Presence Network equips caregivers, chaplains, healthcare professionals, and leaders with formation-based training in presence-centered care, emotional awareness, trauma-informed practice, spiritual care, and relational discernment.

Our Vision

To restore presence, wisdom, and compassionate human connection within healthcare, caregiving, leadership, spiritual care, and everyday life.

We believe that one of the most powerful gifts a human being can offer another is simply attentive presence — listening deeply, honoring dignity, and walking beside others through life’s most difficult moments.

The Presence Network exists to cultivate and share this gift of presence. Through training, resources, and community partnerships, we seek to equip chaplains, caregivers, volunteers, and everyday people to accompany others with dignity, compassion, and wisdom.

The Presence Network is committed to nurturing a community of people who understand the sacredness of this journey and who are willing to walk beside others in moments of vulnerability and transition.

Our vision is simple:

That no one should have to walk life’s most difficult moments alone.

Our Story

The Presence Network was born from a simple but profound truth: presence heals.  People are transformed less by technique alone, and more by the quality of presence offered to them in moments of vulnerability.

After decades serving in ministry, counseling, education, behavioral health, and hospice care, our founder recognized a growing need:  Modern caregivers are increasingly trained in tasks and protocols, yet often under-formed in the inner qualities that make care deeply human—presence, wisdom, emotional awareness, discernment, and relational attunement.

The Presence Network grew out of a lifelong journey of learning how to love people well.

Meet the Founder

Carlo Griseta is a hospice chaplain, bereavement coordinator, educator, and lifelong advocate for compassionate human care.

With decades of experience spanning ministry, education, behavioral health, youth advocacy, leadership, and hospice care, Carlo has devoted his life to helping others navigate suffering, meaning, grief, growth, and spiritual formation.

His work is shaped by a deep conviction that healing often emerges not from having the right answers, but from offering grounded, compassionate presence in moments of vulnerability.

The Presence Network represents the culmination of his life’s work: a framework for forming caregivers whose presence itself becomes healing.
