What do I bring to the table? Metaphorically, I bring the table itself—a place where people gather, along with the behind-the-scenes support that helps meaningful work happen.
I own a small home décor shop on Main Street in Belton, Missouri. I've always believed our surroundings matter—that home should be a place where we can lay our burdens down, rest, restore, and find a sense of peace.
Over time, my shop became less about retail and more about creating space for meaningful conversation and connection. What began as an idea for gift boxes led to a conversation with Carlo and Amy, who shared a vision for bereavement gifts. This led to thoughtfully curating gift-boxes designed to bring comfort, beauty, and care to people experiencing loss.
I'm a lifelong maker and designer, and my favorite creative medium is usually whatever I'm working on next. These days, that's The Presence Network website—an ongoing project that allows me to combine creativity with a desire to support work that helps people feel seen, cared for, and not alone.
